Event inspirations and ideas:
Have a Raffle
Raffle off a white item such as an iPod, a basket full of delicious white chocolate or a pair of white super comfy faux-shearling slippers.
Create a Challenge
Challenge individual departments to see which one can raise the most money. The winning department could win something simple and enjoyable like a TWO-hour pizza lunch the next day.
Wear White Challenge
On January 29, ask the office staff to come to work wearing all white. Make it fun - create awards for best and worst white outfits.
Clothing Drive
Ask staff to donate a pair of NEW white socks, (or any NEW coloured clothing).
White Bake Sale
Sell white cupcakes, white cookies, merangue, baked alaska cakes, etc.
Potluck Draws
Ask each person in the office to bring a bottle of white wine. Display the bottles in an attractive basket, box or wheelbarrow. Hold a raffle or auction to see who will win it!
Apres Work
Plan a white wine and cheese after-hours work party and ask everyone to participate by bringing something delicious to eat and donate $4.
White Hot Chocolate
Set up a white hot chocolate stand. Sell it early in the morning and/or at lunchtime to raise extra money. Its always a tasty treat on a cold January day.
Corporate Match Incentive
Don't forget to challenge management to match the amount raised by you and your co-workers.
